Sovware Annual Refreshment Tour 2025: Strengthening Bonds Beyond the Workplace

To reconnect, recharge, and reinforce our team spirit, the Sovware family embarked on a three-day team tour to Sylhet—a journey filled with nature, sports, conversations, and unforgettable moments.
This tour was designed to step away from daily work routines, strengthen relationships, and return with renewed energy and unity.
Day 1: Journey to Sylhet & Discovering Jaflong
Heading Out from Sovware

The journey began with an overnight departure from Sovware by sleeper bus. While the distance was long, the excitement of traveling together set the tone for the days ahead.
Arrival in Sylhet & Team Breakfast

After reaching Sylhet, the team enjoyed breakfast at Dudhwala Kitchen. Traditional flavors like Satkora beef and Khichuri offered the perfect start to the tour.
Journey to Jaflong & Resort Check-in




From Sylhet city, the team traveled around two hours to reach Jaintia Hill Resort in Jaflong. Although everyone was tired from the long journey, the surrounding natural beauty instantly refreshed the team. Lunch was served upon arrival, giving everyone time to relax.
Visit to Jaflong Zero Point




Later in the day, the team visited Jaflong Zero Point. The scenic views, flowing rivers, and open landscapes created a calm and refreshing experience for everyone.
Evening at the Resort: BBQ & Recreation




The evening brought everyone back to the resort for a Mutton BBQ and accompanied by traditional Arab beverage Gahwa. Conversations, laughter, and bonding filled the night. To end the day, the team organized a football match under the night sky—energy levels still high despite the long day.
Day 2: Sports, Team Engagement & Relaxation
SPL (Sovware Premier League) at Noljuri Field




Day two began with a refreshing morning view at the resort. After breakfast, the team prepared for SPL (Sovware Premier League), one of the most anticipated activities of the tour.
The SPL matches took place at at the “Viral” Noljury Cricket Club ground, located near the Bangladesh–India border, surrounded by open landscapes. The field witnessed energetic performances, impressive fours and sixes, and strong team collaboration throughout the games.
The opening clash between SovWare Raptors and SovWare United set the stage for an exciting season. SovWare United secured a confident 5-wicket victory, marking a strong start. The remainder of the tournament will continue in the new year to determine the season’s champion.
Shopping & Free Time
After the matches, team members enjoyed lunch and spent free time exploring nearby, local markets and shopping. It was a relaxed opportunity to unwind individually while still sharing the experience together.
Night BBQ & Rest

The day concluded with a Chicken BBQ dinner. After a long and active day, the team rested to prepare for the adventures planned for the final day.
Day 3: Water, Hills & the Journey Home
Boat Tour at Shapla Bill

The final day started with a visit to Shapla Bill, where the team enjoyed a peaceful boat tour surrounded by nature.
Exploring Lalakhal & Tea Gardens




From Shapla Bill, the team headed to Lalakhal—one of the most beautiful destinations in Bangladesh. The crystal blue water, scenic surroundings, and tea gardens offered memorable moments and stunning views.
Lunch at Haripur & Local Flavors
Lunch was shared at Haripur, where the team enjoyed local dishes, including bird items, adding a cultural touch to the experience.
Stop at Agun Pahar
A short stop at Agun Pahar allowed the team to relax, chat, and enjoy one last scenic view before heading back.


One Last Match Before Leaving
As the return journey continued, the team noticed a break opportunity and made the most of it by organizing one final, high-energy football match at Rain or Shine Football Turf—ending the tour with enthusiasm and laughter.
Dinner & Departure
Before heading home, the team spent time shopping in Sylhet city, followed by a final dinner at Panch Bhai Restaurant. With bags packed and hearts full, the team returned with memories that will last far beyond the journey.
